Luc Leyns is a developmental biologist and geneticist. His expertise includes the following domains.
- Early mouse development: phenotypic analysis.
- Embryonic Stem cells (ES cells): culture and differentiation
- Embryotoxicology (Embryonic Stem cells based)
- Wnt protein expression
- Gene expression analysis
- Crispr/Cas
- Cellular toxicity (nanoparticles, PFAS)
Luc is a senior scientist in the research group and in recent years his experience is increasingly valorized in the management of the Department of Biology and the coordination of MSc programmes.
